Having lived in the Pacific Northwest most of my life, I am committed to serving the people and small business owners in this beautiful area.
I received my B.A. in Business Administration and Accounting from Eastern Washington University and am currently working on my Masters in Taxation at Gonzaga University (Go Zags!).
My passion is taking the pressures of accounting systems, taxation and business development off the shoulders of small business owners.
This allows me to simplify their lives with services that follow all the requirements of state and federal tax agencies and keep their day-to-day operations running smoothly.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids.
Upon graduating in 2001 from Eastern Washington University, I worked in Seattle for one of the top 5 international accounting firms.
I decided I preferred living in the Inland Northwest and returned to the area.
After achieving ownership in the largest North Idaho CPA firm, I realized small is a better fit for me. My specialties include personal and business income taxes, nonprofit IRS filings, small business consulting, nonprofit and governmental accounting, audit preparation, staff and board of directors training, and financial records cleanup.
I am very active in the community including having served on several boards for nonprofit organizations and am passionate about volunteer work.
As part of the administrative staff, I make sure our Account Managers have everything they need to efficiently serve our clients.
From welcoming clients to creating spreadsheets and presentations, excellent service is at the heart of all we do.
My favorite part about working at IBG is seeing the satisfaction on our clients’ faces.
